The Fourth Annual Festival of Trees!

Friday, December 7 from 5-9 p.m. & Saturday, December 8 from 8:30-5:00 p.m.
(final bidding 9-9:30 p.m.)
Find your perfect hand-decorated tree or wreath, listen to Christmas carols, and shop the craft booths. Trees and wreaths are decorated by local sponsors such as the Spaaah Shop or DMR. Some trees even have presents underneath! To bid on a tree or wreath just come to Festival of Trees on Friday or Saturday and sign up for your favorite tree. Final bidding is Saturday night from 9-9:30 and tree or wreath pick up is on Sunday from 10-2. Please note that the Festival will be closed for the Murder Mystery Dinner from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday.

Spend less time cooking and shopping and more time with family when you come to this year's Festival of Trees' breakfast with Santa. Kids can see Santa without waiting in long lines or they can find mom and dad the perfect present at the craft booths. The whole family will enjoy pancakes while singing along with the Bar D Wranglers. You can even shop for a tree! Call 385-3445 now to reserve your tickets for the Bar D Wranglers' Breakfast with Santa. Tickets are $10 and children under 3 are free.

Christmas Dinner Murder Mystery in Durango!

Try something different this Christmas and take yourself back to a murder mystery from 1920s Durango set amidst the evening glow of the Festival of Trees. Call 385-3445 or go to Maria's Bookshop by December 2nd to get limited tickets to the premiere of Death on the Dance Floor. $65 per ticket. Catered dinner and drinks included. Produced by Sinister Shadows Murder Mysteries.

Death on the Dance Floor, a brand new Sinister Shadows production, will draw the participants into the Durango of the 1920s, when prohibition was the law of the land and breaking that law was "the bee's knees!" Those entering the speak-easy will become acquainted with the world of jazz singers, bootleggers, "G" men, crooked coppers, and bathtub gin, where vice, deception, and the tango reign supreme. Caution! Audience members dressed in twenties costume may be drawn into the show! Guard your garters and hang onto your hats………the fun is just beginning!
