Tambo

TAMBO is a monthly opportunity for parents of children with special needs to have some well-deserved time to themselves while their children enjoy various activities with adult supervision. The Durango program, based at the Mason Center, is a result of a collaboration between CCI, San Juan Basin Health, Durango Parks and Recreation, and SUCAP. Volunteers from the local colleges and the community supervise the children while parents enjoy a movie, shop, eat out, spend time with other siblings, or just relax!

Pre-registration and advanced sign-up is required
in order to schedule enough volunteers!

For more information or to register your child,
please email the Tambo Coordinator or call 903-2295.

Volunteers are always needed!
Please email the Tambo Coordinator or call 903-2295 to sign up as a volunteer.
You can also download the registration form and the volunteer information sheet.
Please contact the Tambo Coordinator to sign up for a specific day.
Volunteer hours may count towards community service!
